We can provide you with simultaneous interpretation, which is the most difficult form of simultaneous interpretation, as the interpreter translates while the speaker is speaking, thus minimising time delays. This method does not rely on the interpreter’s memory and saves time. It is usually used in large conferences where headphones and microphones are provided and the interpreter interprets in a soundproof room so that the audience can receive the fastest possible interpretation in their headphones. Simultaneous interpretation requires concentration on listening to the speaker and interpreting the previous sentence at the same time, so it requires a high degree of concentration and experience, and is generally more expensive.

In consecutive interpreting, the speaker usually starts a sentence and then pauses for the interpreter to repeat it in another language. When the interpretation of the previous sentence is complete, the speaker continues. If the speaker speaks a longer sentence, the interpreter needs to have a good memory to convey the full meaning. This method is best suited for business communications, speeches, interviews, court hearings, or less involved environments, and is relatively more economical.

Whispered Interpretation is usually provided to an audience of one or two people, with the interpreter translating the original text into their ear, and is often used in private or business meetings where participants speak different languages. Whispering saves time and is more efficient than consecutive interpreting, while interpreters find the right place to serve their clients.

In the digital age, remote interpretation is becoming more and more popular. Remote interpreters are able to interpret for clients via telephone or video conferencing. Apart from video conferencing platforms (e.g. Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and other major platforms), we can also provide remote interpreting services on other platforms depending on the needs of our clients.
